Hancock Invites Students to Register for Spring Classes
JANUARY 19, 2022 -- There is still time for students to change their odds and register for spring classes at Allan Hancock College.
Spring classes at the college start Jan. 24 and registration is still open. This spring, Hancock will continue to offer credit and noncredit classes in a variety of formats, including in-person, live online, and “room and Zoom” hybrid classes to help students achieve their goals of graduating, transferring to a four-year university or entering the workforce.
“The college is excited to continue offering our students a quality education and the support they need to meet their goals this spring,” said Hancock Superintendent/President Kevin G. Walthers, Ph.D. “We encourage any community member who wants to pursue an education at Hancock to register for classes and know that we are here to help them succeed.”
The college continues to offer a robust range of support services for students this spring. Available services include financial aid, free tutoring, free academic counseling, free textbooks for classes, free food, free bus passes, and more. Students taking 12 credits or more may also qualify for Hancock's Promise Plus program, which will pay for the cost of their tuition for spring 2022 and the 2022-23 academic year. The Hancock Promise Plus is available to any first-time, continuing, returning, transfer, and even international students - regardless of residency.
As the college prepares for spring classes, Hancock remains committed to ensuring a safe and healthy campus for all students, staff, and the community. The college’s COVID-19 vaccination and testing protocols will continue during spring, with the college providing free testing to all students and employees.
